Totally recommend for a momentary visit

Clean room, nice decor, and a lovely bar/lounge area with a welcoming atmosphere to relax after exploring the city make this hotel a solid choice for a short stay.

Nothing to dislike.

A stylish decor in the reception areas and hallways caught my eye upon arrival. The layout appeared cozy, but unfortunately, that was about where the positives ended.

Many aspects of the experience fell short, primarily due to cleanliness-stained walls and bathroom tiles. My room faced a brick wall, leaving little to enjoy outside. The Wi-Fi was problematic. I had to fill out a form to get access and it was intermittent at best. The bathroom lacked upkeep with visible soap build-up, and the mattress was far from comfortable. Technical details left much to be desired. There were no IT ports, no phone for emergencies, and the kettle's placement next to a desk lamp felt unsafe. The lack of accessible room information in the room turned simple tasks into a hassle, like needing to ask for basic supplies without a phone at hand.

The comfortable bed allowed for a restful sleep, but the room had a broken lamp.

Absolutely loved the breakfast vibe with delicious avocado on sourdough and roasted mushrooms, all while cozying up next to the log-burning stove! Plus, the expansive garden is perfect for kids to unleash their energy. Our double room was clean and cozy, allowing us to enjoy a great night's sleep.

After switching rooms due to the heating being a no-show, we noticed all rooms could use a little TLC. The shower was a bit of a mishap—just a tie wrap holding things together. Still, the cozy environment saved the day!

Expansive garden, charming décor, serene lake views

Rooms need significant maintenance attention!!! Lighting inadequate in many areas!!! Wi-Fi connectivity unreliable, leading to frustrating disconnections during my stay!!! Better organization at reception area required!!!

the location was perfect for us, being close to the theatre. the staff, especially during meals, were attentive and friendly. our double room was clean and cozy, allowing us to enjoy a great night's sleep. we also appreciated the nice meals served in the restaurant.

The double room was comfy and spacious, definitely enough for a good night's sleep. The décor felt cozy, giving off a nice vibe. I loved the Nespresso machine for my morning coffee. I heard that the rooms are set for refurbishment soon, which might be needed since some fixtures looked slightly tired. it worked for my short stay!

During my one-night stay, I loved the calming atmosphere and the excellent food. The friendly staff made a noticeable difference, especially during dinner. The dessert was truly a delight, elevating the overall experience!

The quaint décor of Worplesdon Place had such charm, reminding me of my grandmother’s cozy parlor. The sprawling gardens are accessible and perfect for a leisurely stroll, allowing me to enjoy nature without any worries.

More seating options for seniors would be helpful.

The stay at Worplesdon Place was quite enjoyable. The room provided a luxurious experience with a large, comfortable bed and tasteful decor. I also appreciated the well-appointed bathroom with a powerful shower. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a good variety of continental and cooked options at a reasonable price. The bar staff were attentive and efficient, even outside of reception hours.

Pleasant room, comfortable bed, with lovely soap and hand cream provided that added a nice touch to our stay, complemented by the excellent shower with ample hot water that ensured a refreshing start to each day. the free parking was a great convenience for exploring the surrounding area.
